Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Ballet Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels through the art of ballet. Duties Design and implement comprehensive ballet curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of choreography, technique, and performance skills Lead engaging dance classes that emphasize proper form, artistic expression, and musicality while maintaining a lively and motivating atmosphere Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment for all students Provide individualized feedback to students to support their growth in ballet technique and performance confidence Collaborate with colleagues on developing youth programs, special workshops, or community outreach events focused on dance and the arts Incorporate elements of theater experience, choreography, or musical instruments when relevant to enhance lesson diversity Utilize your expertise in childhood development, childcare, and preschool experience to create age-appropriate activities that foster early love for dance Qualifications Proven experience in teaching ballet with a strong foundation in choreography and dance instruction techniques Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and youth in educational or arts settings Knowledge of curriculum development tailored to various age groups and skill levels Experience managing classroom behavior and applying behavior management strategies in creative arts environments Background in theater arts, musical instruments, or photography is a plus for enriching dance presentations Familiarity with teaching visual & performing arts as well as specialized training in creative arts instruction Strong understanding of childhood development principles and experience working with preschool or young children is highly desirable Ability to demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism while working with students of diverse backgrounds Join us in inspiring creativity through ballet!
