Communicate regularly with parents through meetings, reports, and digital platforms to discuss student progress and address concerns. Mentor students in academic advising, extracurricular activities such as sports or library services, and personal development programs. Incorporate instructional modifications to support students with special education needs while maintaining compliance with educational regulations. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, learning technology integration, and innovative teaching methodologies such as Montessori or other educational philosophies. Support school events like sports coaching or public speaking engagements that promote student engagement beyond academics. Experience Proven high school teaching experience with a strong background in curriculum implementation across multiple subjects. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with teenagers from diverse cultural backgrounds and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Experience working with students with special education needs or learning disabilities; familiarity with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) is preferred. Strong classroom management skills coupled with behavior management expertise to create a safe and productive learning environment. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and experience preparing students for college entrance exams or other assessments. Proficiency in using educational technology tools for instruction, assessment, and communication purposes. Previous experience in private or public school settings is advantageous; familiarity with Montessori or other specialized educational approaches is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions and collaboration with colleagues on curriculum development or instructional strategies.
