Qualifications & Experience Needed:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with elementary-aged children; background with non-verbal students preferred Confidence managing behaviors, especially with students exhibiting self-injurious actions Strong communication skills and an adaptable, patient teaching approach Ability to design and implement individualized instructional strategies
