As a Special Education Teacher, you'll work one-on-one with a non-verbal first-grade student who requires compensatory services delivered in the home setting. This fulfilling contract opportunity lets you play a vital role in shaping brighter learning experiences tailored to individual needs. You'll have the chance to build rapport with your student and customize instruction for meaningful progress, making an immediate impact. The specific location will be determined based on the student's address, schedule, and needs. Final hours, term of the contract, and possible virtual options are being determined and will be finalized within 24 hours.

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience working with elementary-aged children; background with non-verbal students preferred Confidence managing behaviors, especially with students exhibiting self-injurious actions Strong communication skills and an adaptable, patient teaching approach Ability to design and implement individualized instructional strategies
