The Goddard School of Fairfax is currently looking for a full-time Twos Teacher (24 months•3 years old) who will create meaningful experiences for our two year olds. We are looking for education-driven teachers that will foster curiosity and create inquiry-based lesson plans for our students. Overview of Role:
Our teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of their assigned classroom. Lead Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for children in a safe environment. Teachers will work directly with children and parents daily to build strong relationships and provide quality service. Advancing physical and intellectual competence by adapting program activities to meet the individual needs of the children Providing positive guidance by supporting social and emotional development Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children's latest adventures Engage with other childcare professionals and continue to grow in your profession Support students on their potty training journey and collaborate with families to help them be successful.
Qualifications:
CDA, Associates, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required Must be able to work the hours of 9:00AM•6:00PM (with a one hour break) Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience coordinating and managing potty training needs for multiple children Knowledge of developmental goals for two year olds and writing lesson plans to reach them CPR/First Aid Certification (required) Our school offers professional development for its faculty.
