This position required experience or capabilities to teach high school level math (algebra, algebra II, Geometry) Prepped Learning is an independent educational practice offering educational interventions to students with complex learning needs. We have an immediate opening for a master-level teacher with high school level math experience to join our team. Applicant must have teaching license (current or expired), proven rapport with students and ability to customize instruction to students' learning needs. Master's degree in Education is preferred. Contract position; at least one year contract required One-on-one instruction with regularly scheduled students, we work year-round; this is an in-person position Approximately 4-8 hours per week Availability to start immediately Hours are generally in the timeframe of 3:00-7:30, Monday - Thursday Teaching certification required (may be expired) Preference given to applicants familiar with area public schools Collaborative team approach. Students' instructional needs, assessment results, educational history and learning goals are discussed collaboratively. Teachers/therapists implement learning plans independently according to those aims Paid monthly Looking for an engaging educator with obvious initiative, attention to detail, dedication to student success, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience with instructional interventions in math for students with learning disabilities.
