What they do
A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 11 AM-2PM Pay:
$75/hour | 15 hours weeklyResponsibilities:
Create a consistent learning and wellness routine Assist with prescribed vision-therapy exercises Provide educational and developmental activities Encourage communication, independence, and life skills Offer positive, structured one-on-one engagementPreferred Qualifications:
Special education, OT, autism, ABA, or therapeutic-learning experience Experience supporting nonverbal or minimally verbal children Knowledge of visual schedules and sensory regulation CPR/First Aid certification preferred Dependable transportation Successful background check Strong references Please message your qualifications, experience, availability, and references.Pay:
