Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Description

Part-Time In-Home Special Education Teacher / Therapeutic Learning Coach - $75/hour Seeking a compassionate professional to support a wonderful 13-year-old boy with autism in Stafford/Fredericksburg, VA, in our home locatedon the rappahancok river, starting 9/7.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 11 AM-2
PM Pay:
$75/hour | 15 hours weekly
Responsibilities:
Create a consistent learning and wellness routine Assist with prescribed vision-therapy exercises Provide educational and developmental activities Encourage communication, independence, and life skills Offer positive, structured one-on-one engagement
Preferred Qualifications:
Special education, OT, autism, ABA, or therapeutic-learning experience Experience supporting nonverbal or minimally verbal children Knowledge of visual schedules and sensory regulation CPR/First Aid certification preferred Dependable transportation Successful background check Strong references Please message your qualifications, experience, availability, and references.
Pay:
From $65.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 15.0 per week
