9660961-23950 Job Description Step into a rewarding role supporting 3rd grade students as a Special Education Teacher in a contract position designed for enthusiastic educators passionate about inclusive learning environments. This opportunity involves working with students who follow the general education curriculum, ensuring each childs needs are met while fostering academic and social success. This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, working with a dedicated classroom of 10 students through the end of the school year (concluding May 21). Youll have the chance to utilize your expertise, collaborate with a supportive staff, and make an immediate difference in the lives of young learners. Your experience managing an elementary caseload and adapting lessons for diverse needs will be vital as you work closely with students, fellow teachers, and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid certification in Special Education (appropriate for elementary level) Previous experience teaching special education in a school setting, preferably grades K-5 Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and implementing IEPs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment Comfortable collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
