Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Take your passion for making a difference in students' lives to the next level by supporting learners in a welcoming school environment. Multiple contract openings are available for certified Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. These roles offer the chance to create positive, inclusive learning experiences for students ranging from elementary to middle school levels. Openings for the coming year include: Two elementary K-5 inclusion classroom positions One elementary K-5 self-contained classroom position One middle school grades 6-8 inclusion position All roles are full-time, scheduled at 37.5 hours per week, and paraeducator support is available to assist in your daily responsibilities. What we're seeking: Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification) Experience or strong interest in working with students with diverse learning needs Effective classroom management and collaborative skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student goals in both inclusion and self-contained environments Dedication to fostering a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom climate Responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Providing differentiated instruction within inclusion or self-contained settings Collaborating with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers Monitoring student progress and adjusting strategies to support academic and behavioral growth Maintaining clear, ongoing communication with families and school staff If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in students' lives, we encourage you to submit your resume today.
