Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification (Virginia or eligible for reciprocity) Proven classroom experience with individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration abilities Experience adapting instruction for students with a range of disabilities Current knowledge of special education laws and best practices Ability to start as soon as possible

Responsibilities:

Deliver instruction and support to students with special needs in collaboration with general education staff Develop, implement, and track IEP goals and objectives Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators to ensure student progress Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment for all learners Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
