Available roles include:

K-1

Autism Teacher:

Work closely with young children on the autism spectrum, utilizing individualized strategies to support communication, social skills, and classroom engagement. 3rd

Grade Special Education/General Education Teacher:

Provide instruction and support for diverse learners in both inclusive and specialized classroom settings.

High School Special Education Teacher:

Help adolescents with unique learning needs achieve academic success and transition toward post-secondary goals.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid licensure/certification to teach Special Education in the state of Virginia. Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring. Experience with individualized instruction, behavioral strategies, and classroom management. Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families. Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues. Skill in adapting curriculum and instruction to meet varied learning needs. Prior experience within the relevant grade or disability area preferred.

Plan and deliver effective, differentiated instruction aligned with student IEPs. Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
