School Year Details:
Remote or Onsite Position Full-Time or Part-Time based on district needs K-12 Caseload Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments Conduct functional vision assessments and learning media assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide instruction in Braille, assistive technology, and visual skills as appropriate Support students with academic, communication, and independent living skills Collaborate with teachers, staff, parents, and administration Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Documentation and more Education and Certification Appropriate state Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) certification/licensure Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education, Visual Impairments, or a related field TVI experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Experience with Braille and assistive technology preferred Experience working with students with visual impairments preferred Virtual/online teaching experience preferred Soliant Benefits Highly competitive compensation Weekly pay to this Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) job or send your resume to to learn about other available opportunities through Soliant!
