Job Description

Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid certification in Special Education for the state Experience developing and implementing IEPs and differentiated instruction Strong background in classroom and behavior management Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, students, and families Adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic about creating inclusive learning environments Familiarity with a variety of disabilities and learning styles is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver effective lesson plans tailored to meet diverse student needs Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly Collaborate routinely with general education teachers, specialists, and parents Foster a positive, welcoming classroom environment that supports student confidence and independence Maintain all required documentation, including IEPs, progress reports, and communication logs Participate in team meetings and professional development to stay updated on best practices
