Job Description

You'll provide essential services in a welcoming school setting near Lyndonville, VT, building strong relationships with students, staff, and families to help everyone succeed. You'll tailor interventions to each child's needs and be a key part of shaping a supportive, inclusive environment.
Desired Experience and Skills:
Valid certification in Special Education (Early Childhood focus preferred) Experience working with early childhood populations or preschool-aged students Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and collaboration skills Adaptability and enthusiasm for new environments and challenges Previous experience in a school or similar setting Up-to-date knowledge of current best practices and legal requirements in special education
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for early childhood students Design age-appropriate learning materials and modify curriculum to meet diverse needs Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families Monitor student progress and provide consistent updates Use varied instructional strategies to encourage learning and engagement Support positive classroom management and foster an inclusive atmosphere This position offers you the chance to collaborate with eager students and supportive professionals in Vermont.
