Desired Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain) Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field Previous experience working in early childhood or elementary settings preferred Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Strong commitment to fostering inclusive, equitable learning environments Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized instruction and interventions to young children requiring additional learning support Develop, implement, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate student needs Create engaging, nurturing classroom environments that promote growth and positive relationships Track student progress, document outcomes, and communicate effectively with stakeholders Consult and collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure comprehensive care You'll enjoy the dynamic experience of serving on a supportive team, making a marked impact within a respected educational community.
