Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Special Education (or eligibility for VT certification) Proven experience working with early childhood populations (Pre-K through early elementary) Strong background in developing and implementing IEPs Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and other educators Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Passion for creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction to students with varying abilities and needs Develop, update, and monitor students' IEPs in partnership with families and specialists Employ evidence-based strategies and differentiated teaching techniques Maintain accurate records related to academic progress, attendance, and student behavior Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions Foster a positive, encouraging classroom culture where every student can succeed Enjoy the chance to make a real impact as you support young students' growth and development.
