Champlain Valley School District / 2026-2027 School Year 0.5 FTE Charlotte Central School 1.0 FTE Shelburne Community School Champlain Valley School District (CVSD) seeks up to 1.5 FTE innovative and collaborative special education professionals to join our school communities. Positions are at the Charlotte Central School and Shelburne Community School. CVSD is seeking educators with demonstrated leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, who share our passion for inclusive education. The ideal candidates will have experience working on collaborative teams, including working closely with classroom teachers to co-design instruction. Candidates should indicate in their cover letter any specific expertise or experience they bring to their work, including (but not limited to): literacy or math expertise, coteaching, low-incidence disabilities/intensive needs and working with learners who have social/emotional/behavioral challenges. A Masters degree or equivalent in Special Education plus relevant experience in providing special education services is preferred, but candidates with different backgrounds who may be eligible for licensure are encouraged to apply. Final assignment to a building is made after matching candidates to the needs of each of our systems; however, candidates should indicate any preference they have for specific CVSD schools. The salary range for the 1.0 position is $54,636

• $111,845. The salary range for the 0.5 position is $27,318
