Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher serving K-12 students in a dynamic, supportive school environment. This full-time role runs from ASAP through June 11, 2027, and offers the chance to make a significant impact on students educational journeys. As a key educational partner, youll primarily manage essential paperwork and compliance duties, collaborating across several school buildings to ensure comprehensive special education services.
Qualifications:
Active Special Education (SPED) Certification or License required Experience with K-12 student populations preferred Proficient at managing documentation, meetings, and compliance tasks for special education programs Strong organizational skills and adaptability for working in multiple school sites Effective collaboration and communication with staff, students, and families
Responsibilities:
Handle the majority of paperwork associated with special education caseloads, including IEPs, progress notes, and legal documentation Travel between school buildings within the district to provide support where needed Work on-site with staff to ensure students needs are met in accordance with federal and state regulations Maintain accurate records and work closely with faculty, administration, and parents to deliver the highest quality services to students Stay up to date with best practices and compliance standards in special education This full-time contract role (37.5 hours per week) represents a meaningful way to help students reach their potential while growing your professional skills.
