Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching certification/license (state-specific). Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or Resource Teacher. Strong understanding of IEP processes, accommodations, and differentiation. Ability to foster an inclusive, positive classroom climate. Collaborative approach—willingness to work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families. Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and small group instruction to students with diverse learning needs, adhering to IEP requirements. Assess student performance and use data to inform teaching strategies. Write, implement, and monitor IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams. Communicate regularly with families about student progress and growth. Support classroom accommodations and modifications to promote student accessibility. Maintain accurate records, attend meetings, and comply with all district/state regulations.
