Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Special Education Teacher (SPED) - High School Self-Contained | Algona, WA | 2026-2027 School Year Soliant Education is hiring a full-time SPED Teacher for a high school self-contained classroom in Suffolk, VA.
Pay:
$45-$50 (depends on experience)
Schedule:
37.5 hours per week |
Full-time Setting:
Onsite only Caseload High school self-contained classroom Direct instruction and support for students with intensive needs Requirements WA SPED License & ESA Certificate (verification required) School-based SPED experience preferred Ability to write and implement
