```Duties```

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
• Provide instruction in various subjects, including math, language arts, science, and social studies
• Utilize learning technology and assistive devices to enhance student learning
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and participation
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to address student needs and ensure a comprehensive educational experience
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills development ```Requirements```
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with developmental disabilities, including deaf education, early intervention, or preschool experience
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of learning technology and assistive devices used in special education settings
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
• Understanding of child welfare laws and regulations related to special education services
