You'll serve as a key member of a school-based team, collaborating with fellow educators, families, and specialists to help students with diverse learning needs thrive.

What You'll Bring:

Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher Previous experience working with students in special education settings, preferably in a resource classroom Deep understanding of IEP processes and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff and families Ability to adapt strategies to meet a variety of learning needs Commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

What You'll Do:

Provide direct instruction to students with varying needs in a resource setting Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state regulations Collaborate with general education teachers to implement accommodations and modifications Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates with families Utilize evidence-based instructional practices tailored to individual students Participate in team meetings, professional development, and student support activities

Position Details:

Contract opportunity for the full 2026/2027 school year Four-day work week (Monday-Thursday) Approximately 30 hours per week This role is ideal for educators passionate about fostering growth and belonging for every student.
