Requirements:

Completion of a minimum of 3 WI state licensing books. Intro to Child Care, Skills and Strategies, Fundamentals of Infants and Toddlers Driver's License Excellent communication skills Superior customer service Enthusiasm Kindness Administrative/Organization competency

Responsibilities:

Working with children. Maintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for children which meet all the licensing regulations. Partner with team members, families, and leadership to create a cohesive, well-connected learning environment. Know licensing regulations and Bear Buddies policy as stated in the provided handbooks. Exhibit enthusiasm, energy and positive attitude towards children, staff and parents. Meet all teacher licensing qualifications. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and neatness of the center and play areas specifically watching for safety hazards. Planning, supervising, and implementing the program for the class in accordance with the policies and philosophy of Bear Buddies. Model behaviors of dignity and respect for all children and staff. Support prospective families by answering enrollment questions and explaining policies outlined in the parent handbook. Support staff members by relieving staff or filling in when necessary. Keeping supplies ordered and stocked up. Constantly supporting a flow of communication with the Director to keep them updated on new or current developments or decisions that need to be made. Support policies, decisions, and directives of the Director of Administration. Attend all staff meetings and mandatory in-service days. Assist in public relations events sponsored by Bear Buddies. Be open to perform other duties as needed as required. Hours, Compensation and Location:

Full-time position Monday - Friday, hours vary. Open at 5:00am Close at 6:30pm Up to $21 per hour depending on education and qualifications About Bear Buddies Child Development Center, Inc.
