Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In-Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in their own homes. This rewarding position offers the opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and attentive care to clients across diverse needs. Your dedication will help promote independence, safety, and comfort for those who need it most. This is a great position for someone who is passionate about working with children, adults, and the elderly who need extra help. The individuals we serve are in need of compassionate care for a wide variety of conditions, such as Autism, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and physical and mental limitations, such as Fibromyalgia, Alzheimer's, Dementia and general muscle weakness. We currently have shifts for In-Home Caregivers to work with a variety of these special needs individuals throughout Dodge County, including but not limited to Beaver Dam, Watertown, Waupun, Horicon, and Mayville. Schedules are chosen by you, which are based on the caregiver's availability, restrictions, and strengths. Schedules can be put together to include nearly any days and hours you can do. We pay our Caregivers
ABOVE MARKET WAGES.
Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive and engaging environment. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and preferences. Assist with light household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing. Support clients in transportation to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed. Provide respite and mentorship to provide a safe space away from family. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or home health services. 1+ Years Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and their families. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting, transferring, or assisting clients with mobility challenges. A valid driver license. A reliable insured vehicle. A reliable phone with access to the internet. Consistently reliable and punctual. Reliable communication.
