This full-time, contract position is ideal for compassionate educators eager to provide targeted support and create positive learning experiences for students with diverse needs. The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with school hours running from 8:00am to 2:30pm, allowing for a healthy balance between your professional and personal life. In this position, youll guide two self-contained classes and spend the rest of your time delivering support through a push-in model, collaborating closely with general education staff, and ensuring students are met with understanding and creative solutions.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid teaching license with Special Education endorsement (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with self-contained classes and in inclusive (push-in) settings preferred Deep understanding of IEP implementation and special education instructional strategies Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills Commitment to fostering an encouraging, inclusive classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, instruct, and modify lessons for students in both self-contained and inclusive classrooms Collaborate with education staff, specialists, and families to develop and monitor student progress Write and implement IEPs, track student data, and maintain compliance with regulations Differentiate instruction based on student needs and learning styles Maintain a positive, structured classroom climate where all students can succeed Enjoy the benefits of building meaningful relationships with your students and colleagues while honing your professional skills in a supportive environment.
