Qualifications:
Special Education Teacher certification (required) Experience or background in K-6th education Ability to teach students with intellectual disabilities and autism Strong collaboration skills for working with paraprofessionals and general education staff
Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction in a primarily self-contained classroom for 8 students Foster an inclusive, nurturing, and structured classroom environment Support students participating in adaptive art, music, physical education, and select grade-level science/social studies classes Collaborate with 2 classroom paras and communicate with broader school teams
