Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Hold a valid Special Education Teacher certification or license (state-specific requirements apply) Demonstrated experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a middle or high school setting Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, colleagues, and families Flexibility, creativity, and a passion for empowering students

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in your caseload Provide direct instruction based on students' unique learning needs in both individual and small-group settings Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records of student performance, progress, and documentation required by state and federal regulations Facilitate a supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and confidence
