A contract paraprofessional position is currently available to serve students across elementary, middle, or high school gradesall conveniently located within a single building. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute as part of a unified campus supporting learners from 4K through 12th grade. This role offers a 35-hour work week and requires someone who thrives in collaborative environments. You will work closely under the guidance of a special education teacher, supporting students academically and behaviorally. In addition, you may be asked to assist with health care needs, always ensuring safety and compassion in every interaction. The ability to adapt and connect with students at different developmental levels is essential as your caseload may vary based on the campuss needs.

Requirements:

Valid special education program aide license, or a special education license in any area Flexibility to serve students in elementary, middle, or high school settings Eagerness to follow direction and partner with special education professionals Willingness to assist with academic, behavioral, and health-related support tasks Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

Provide classroom support and accommodations as directed by the supervising teacher Promote inclusive education by assisting with differentiated instruction Support individual or small group learning activities Foster a positive learning environment for students with diverse needs Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting student engagement Aid with health care needs when necessary This position begins as soon as possible and continues through the school year.
