This full-time contract opportunity is for an experienced Special Education Teacher who can begin as soon as possible. Work with a cross-categorical caseload of approximately 18 students, helping each one achieve their full potential through individualized instruction and collaboration.

Key Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience with high school-aged students and cross-categorical caseloads preferred Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff Ability to create engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to student needs Adaptability and organizational skills for managing documentation and instructional schedules

Role Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for a diverse group of students Deliver direct instruction in both small groups and one-on-one settings, adapting strategies for varied learning styles Collect and analyze student data to track progress and adjust teaching approaches Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all state and federal regulations Participate in relevant meetings, ongoing professional development, and school initiatives Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom culture that encourages academic and personal growth
