Job Description

Youll work collaboratively with general education teachers, families, and support staff to design and implement individualized instruction that sets students up for success both inside and outside the classroom.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Valid teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement Proven experience in a K-5 or elementary special education setting Strong knowledge of IEP processes, goal writing, and compliance Ability to adapt curriculum and use differentiated instruction for varying ability levels Exceptional communication and organizational skills Collaborative, team-oriented approach to working with colleagues and families Compassion and patience when supporting students with a range of learning, behavioral, or developmental needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students Adapt lessons and assessments to ensure accessibility and meaningful participation Utilize assessments and progress monitoring to inform instruction and interventions Foster a positive, encouraging classroom environment Communicate regularly with families and school teams regarding student progress Participate in IEP meetings, problem-solving teams, and professional development opportunities Support for
