A full-time Special Education Teacher is needed for a contract assignment near New Berlin, WI, working directly within school settings. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about fostering inclusive learning and guiding students with diverse abilities toward success. The role features a blend of self-contained classroom instructionleading two self-contained classesand collaborative push-in teaching. Youll team up with educators and support staff to deliver differentiated instruction that meets each students learning goals. Work hours follow the school schedule, ideally 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, over a 40-hour work week. The school is seeking an onsite presence to best support their students; teletherapy will not be considered for this assignment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid state Special Education Teacher certification Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Experience managing both self-contained and inclusive/resource classroom settings Strong ability to adapt instruction for various learning needs and IEP goals Excellent communication skills for positive interaction with students, families, and staff Ability to start as soon as possible and interview promptly

Core Responsibilities:

Teach and manage two self-contained special education classes Provide push-in support to general education classrooms, fostering inclusive educational experiences Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Maintain effective communication with colleagues and parents Create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom atmosphere Shape students educational journeys and professional growth in a rewarding environment.
