School Age/ Closing Teacher

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves managing classroom dynamics, and supporting the academic and social development of children. Responsibilities Implementing curriculum that meets the educational standards and needs of students. Following lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including hands-on activities and standardized testing preparation. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment. Provide individualized support to students, including those with special education needs or requiring early intervention. Foster literacy education through creative reading and writing activities tailored to different learning levels. Engage in ongoing assessment of student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student development and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources. Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes childhood development. Qualifications Experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly in preschool or daycare environments. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and childhood development principles. Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in First Aid/ Infant Child

CPR/ AED

required, must be maintained by recertification as necessary, WILL certify if do not have. Must pass criminal background check/ fingerprinting/ health screening. Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills. (Use of a Tablet daily is required). Ability to work well with others(staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment. (We work as a family) A strong understanding of School Age development and encourage age appropriate milestones. Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 34 - 40 per week
