Key Qualifications and Experience:

Valid teaching certification in Special Education. Experience working as a Special Education Teacher and/or Case Manager in a school setting. Solid understanding of IEP process, documentation, and compliance. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, families, educators, and related service providers. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple student cases efficiently. Demonstrated commitment to creating positive, supportive, and differentiated learning experiences.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as a Case Manager for assigned students, facilitating and overseeing the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Provide direct instruction and support to students with a range of disabilities, modifying curriculum as necessary. Coordinate with pupil service teams, general education teachers, and outside agencies to deliver comprehensive services. Monitor student progress, maintain organized records, and regularly update all required documentation. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress, goals, and successes. Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and empowered.
