Requirements:
Valid West Virginia Teaching Certification with Visual Impairment endorsement required. Responsibilities Provide direct and consultative instructional services tailored to students with visual impairments. Assess functional vision, braille literacy, and assistive technology needs within the educational environment. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to adapt classroom materials and implement effective accessibility strategies. Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to student goal development and progress tracking. Maintain clear, compliant documentation of student progress and service hours.
