Qualifications:

Active Special Education Teacher licensure required; accepted licenses include: Multi-Categorical, K-6 or Multi-Categorical, 5-12 or Autism Passion for supporting and advocating for students with diverse learning needs Prior special education classroom experience highly desirable Willingness to embrace new environments and collaborate with different educational teams

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized instruction and support to students with varying learning needs in K-12 settings (assignments tailored to expertise and preference) Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom climate Effectively communicate with students, families, and colleagues Maintain accurate records and adhere to district and state guidelines
