e2112-25309 Job Description Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated educator supporting children with visual impairments. In this full-time, on-site contract position, youll work one-on-one in a pediatric school setting, providing essential instruction and adapting curriculum to meet your students unique needs. Travel professionals are encouraged to apply and bring their expertise to a welcoming educational environment near South Charleston, WV.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree required Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (state credential required) Experience supporting students with visual impairments in an educational setting is a plus Ability to work effectively as a 1:1 instructor in pediatric settings Strong communication, planning, and adaptability skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized support and instruction to a visually impaired student in a school environment Modify curricula and classroom materials to maximize accessibility and engagement Collaborate with school staff, parents, and related service providers to ensure optimal student outcomes Track, document, and report on student progress and implement effective learning strategies Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
