Job Description
CLC Kid's Day Out is looking for caring, dependable, and energetic Substitute Teachers to join our team! Our KDO program is looking for substitutes who genuinely enjoy working with young children and want to help create a safe, loving, and fun environment for them. Our substitutes may work in different classrooms and with children ranging from infants through preschool age, depending on the needs of the day. What You'll Do Provide a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children Step into classrooms and support the lead teacher as needed Follow the daily classroom schedule and routines Assist with activities, crafts, story time, play, meals/snacks, and rest time Help with diapering and other age-appropriate care as needed Supervise children closely and maintain a safe classroom environment Communicate positively and respectfully with children, families, and staff Follow all KDO policies and Arkansas DHS childcare regulations Be flexible and willing to work with different age groups and classroom needs What We're Looking For Someone who genuinely loves working with children Dependable, responsible, and punctual Patient, kind, and energetic Comfortable working with children from infants through preschool age Able to work well as part of a team Previous childcare, teaching, daycare, or classroom experience is preferred but not required Must be willing to complete all required background checks and training Schedule This is a part-time substitute position . Substitute teachers are contacted as coverage needs arise, so availability may vary from week to week.
