Employment Type Full Time, Temporary Job Summary Job Summary Mater Dei Catholic High School is seeking a Long-term Substitute Math Teacher to join our team in Chula Vista, CA. The position begins in August 2026 and extends through December 2026. The teacher will provide instruction in four sections of Algebra 2/Trigonometry Honors and one section of Elementary Statistics, adhering to the school's curriculum standards. This full-time role includes lesson planning, classroom management, and student performance assessment through the Schoology Learning Management System. The teacher will collaborate with the Math department to ensure consistency, supervise students during class and at school events, and communicate professionally with parents. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field (California Credential or Master's degree preferred), demonstrate a strong understanding of Catholic educational values, and possess classroom management skills that foster a positive learning environment.
