Schedule:
As needed, typically within 7:45 AM-1:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking qualified and dependable Substitute Hifdh Teachers to join our on-call substitute pool. This is an on-call position, meaning workdays and hours are determined based on the needs of the Hifdh Institute. The Hifdh Institute's regular hours are 7:45 AM-1:00 PM. Depending on the needs of the day, a substitute may be asked to cover some or all of these hours. This position reports to the Lead Hifdh Teacher. How the Substitute Pool Works Applicants who are accepted by the Lead Hifdh Teacher will be added to the substitute pool. When a substitute teaching opportunity becomes available, the Lead Hifdh Teacher will contact individuals in the pool to determine availability. Substitutes may accept or decline an available assignment based on their availability. If the first person contacted is unavailable, the Lead Hifdh Teacher will contact the next person in the substitute pool. Being part of the substitute pool does not guarantee a specific number of hours or assignments. Assignments are offered based on the Institute's needs and the substitute's availability. Qualifications & Requirements Strong Hifdh/Qur'an memorization background. Hafidh and Hafidha applicants are welcome to apply. Ability to work effectively with students in a Hifdh learning environment. Dependable, responsible, and punctual. Must have reliable transportation to Garden Grove, CA. Ability to accept or decline assignments based on availability. Prior teaching or Qur'an education experience is preferred. Schedule & Compensation On-call/substitute position Workdays and hours vary and are determined as needed. Institute hours are generally 7:45 AM-1:00 PM. A substitute may be called in for part or all of the regular Institute hours, depending on the day's needs.

$30
