Essential Elements:

Print Provides an educational program for pupils in grades TK-8 th , or a combination thereof; follows regularly assigned teacher's lesson plans in a way that ensures consistency and optimal learning, and that encourages students to participate; assigns classwork and homework as necessary, and according to lesson plans; modifies teaching styles to fit the learning styles of various students; maintains a well-managed classroom and positive learning environment; supervises students out of class, such as in the hallways, cafeteria, and playground.

Requirements / Qualifications

Appropriate California teaching credential, OR a BA degree and Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit; and authorization to provide substitute teaching services by Kern County Superintendent of Schools (KCSOS), Credential Services; current TB and DOJ fingerprint clearance.
