PointClickCare Job Description We are seeking experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide quality direct and indirect resident care in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). The CNA will assist residents with their healthcare and daily living needs under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Multiple positions available. Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect resident care under the direction of an RN or LVN. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs). Provide personal care, comfort, and support to residents. Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for facility residents. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and members of the healthcare team. Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare standards. Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with residents, staff, and the general public. Accurately document and communicate resident care as required. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Current and active California CNA certification required. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required. Minimum 1 year of skilled nursing/SNF experience required. Must have hands-on experience providing care in a skilled nursing environment. Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact professionally, tactfully, and respectfully with residents, staff, and the general public. Basic computer skills required. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Required Certifications & Licensure California CNA Certificate
- Must be currently active BLS
- American Heart Association (AHA)
- Required Experience Requirement Minimum 1 year of skilled nursing/SNF experience required.
