POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our on-call pool. Under the direction of the Principal, the job of Substitute Teacher is done for the purpose(s) of providing a variety of individual and group instruction to students enrolled in Leadership Military Academy to ensure appropriate instruction as determined by California State Standards. The incumbent is responsible for developing and employing strategies to build honor, pride, self-discipline, and leadership in youth through positive behavior management. The following documents are required upon hire: Valid CA Driver's License, Fingerprint Clearance, TB Clearance, Bachelor's Degree.
REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS/DOCUMENTS A
complete application must meet the criteria listed below and must have the following documentation attached prior to the position closing date/time:
  • Two letters of reference/recommendation (Must be dated within the last 2 years)

EXPERIENCE
Experience relevant to the job functions will be considered when making the selection decision.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required. Master's degree desired.

  • Valid California Single/Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit You must provide copies of permit/credential as required for position or provide evidence of qualifying for required permit/credential with your application materials to qualify for the position.
