Job Summary Job Summary Only student teachers who have been placed with a master teacher through the Val Verde Unified School District Human Resources Department may submit an application. Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold one of the following:
  • Valid California Multiple Subject, Single Subject, or Special Education Credential OR
  • 30-Day Substitute Teacher Permit OR
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university (we will assist you with applying for the 30-Day Substitute Teacher Permit upon employment as a substitute teacher with us)

  • Letter of Professional Reference:
    a signed and dated letter professional reference (not older than 1 year)
  • Bachelor's Degree:

  • Individuals who already hold a 30-Day permit OR a California Teaching Credential, please attach a copy
