Full Job Description Description:
The Substitute Teacher (as needed) instructs children in activities designed to promote their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth. This position assists in planning individual and group activities to stimulate learning according to the ages of the children. Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
6 semester units or equivalent quarter units in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. CTC Associate Teacher, Teacher, Master Teacher, or Site Supervisor Permit. Experience working with children and families.
Other Requirements:
Must successfully pass a physical examination and have a current T.B. clearance, pertussis, measles and influenza vaccinations. Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certificate Must complete & pass a criminal background clearance through Community Care Licensing (DOJ/FBI/CAI). Must possess a CA driver's license, and evidence of automobile insurance. (If applicable.) Max 25 hours a week.
COMPENSATION
$23 TO $25 PER HOUR
