Job Summary Job Summary Substitute classified is an on-call as needed position. Substitutes may work in a variety of different positions depending on their work experience.

Fingerprint Clearance

• TB clearance (Required upon hire)
• Vaccine Record (only for Paraeducator Early Childhood Education) Classified Substitute is an on-call as needed position. The district needs substitutes in the following areas:

Office Support:

Microsoft Office Word and Excel preferred

• Instructional Support
• (may require a written test prior to starting)

Paraeducators Early Childhood Education:

• certain vaccines required
• Kitchen Worker (Food Handlers Card required
• upload if interested)
• Safety Supervisors
• Bus Monitors
• Campus Security Assistants (Current Guard Card and SB1626 Certificate
• upload if interested)
• Maintenance & Operations
• Custodians and Groundskeepers

• 2 professional letters of recommendation dated within the past 12 months. These letters must be from a former or current Supervisor.

Selected candidates will be contacted to move forward to get fingerprinted for DOJ and FBI. Once candidates clear TB and fingerprints they will be invited to attend a mandatory orientation.
