Under the direction of the site administrator and/or regular classroom teacher, the Substitute Teacher provides instruction and supervision for students in TK-12 classrooms during the absence of the regular teacher. The Substitute Teacher implements provided lesson plans and district-adopted curriculum, maintains a safe, orderly, and supportive learning environment, manages student behavior, monitors student progress and participation, and performs other duties necessary to support continuity of instruction and student learning.
