Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated Part-Time Mentor to provide individual academic support to students with diverse learning differences. The ideal candidate brings both strong teaching instincts and deep empathy for students who learn differently—whether through professional experience, personal connection, or a shared neurodivergent journey. You'll serve not just as an educator, but as a supportive partner in each student's learning journey. Key Responsibilities 1-on-1

Instruction:

Deliver tailored, engaging tutoring sessions that cater to each student's specific learning style and goals.

Data-Informed Planning:

Monitor student progress, adapt lesson strategies based on learning data, and pivot approaches as student needs evolve.

Family Collaboration:

Maintain regular, encouraging communication with parents and caregivers to share milestones and strategies.

Group Support:

Facilitate small-group sessions on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications & Core Competencies Experience:

Demonstrated success supporting or teaching students with learning differences (e.g., ADHD, Dyslexia, Executive Functioning challenges).

Mindset:

A genuine passion for student success, paired with patience, warmth, and an encouraging approach.

Pay:

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
