Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners and educators in an elementary school setting near Wilmington, Delaware. This contract opportunity is ideal for paraprofessionals skilled in providing programmatic assistance to kindergarten classrooms across the school. The assignment is expected to last approximately 60 days, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact within a focused timeframe.
What We're Looking For:
Valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit is required at the time of application (pending is acceptable with a DEEDS portal screenshot). Experience or strong interest in working as a paraprofessional, especially with kindergarten or early elementary-aged students. Ability to provide hands-on, supportive assistance in a classroom environment. Willingness to obtain Delaware fingerprinting clearance ($85 cost to be covered by candidate). Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with diverse teaching teams. If possessing RBT certification, please note that external BCBA supervision is required to maintain certification; this assignment is classified as a paraprofessional role.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the instructional and behavioral needs of kindergarten classrooms throughout the school. Assist students individually or in small groups, guided by classroom teachers. Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Aid teachers with classroom management, instructional materials, and activity preparation. Communicate observations and feedback regarding student progress to the educational team.
Assignment Details:
