Valid Florida Certification:

SOE, Temporary, or Professional Certificate in ESE or Varying Exceptionalities ESOL, Reading, or Gifted Endorsements (Preferred) Must pass all background checks and drug test Experience Teaching experience (Preferred) Substitute teaching (Preferred) Familiarity with IEPs , writing goals, and progress monitoring Knowledge of RtI/MTSS , B.E.S.T. Standards , and small‑group instruction Position Overview The ESE Teacher works under the supervision of the Principal and experienced Teachers to deliver high‑quality instruction and support services to students with exceptionalities. This role includes small‑group instruction, academic pull‑outs, extended‑day academic support, and collaboration with classroom teachers. Duties & Responsibilities Implement instructional programs for students receiving ESE services Develop teaching plans based on student learning needs Write and monitor IEP goals Conduct ongoing assessment and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with classroom teachers and the school's Problem‑Solving Team Communicate effectively with parents and staff Support academic enrichment and extended‑day programs Attend staff meetings and required trainings Follow federal/state laws and CSE Board policies Promote a safe, respectful, and structured learning environment Expected hours: 40.0 per week
