To Be Determined Job Description Lewis Central Community School District is looking for Substitutes to help assist in the absence of our regularly scheduled staff. We are looking for Substitute Teachers, Paraeducators, Nutrition Services Staff and Office Staff. Preferences on buildings and positions you are willing to take will be asked in the application. Substitute Teacher Applicants - You must have a current teaching license, a substitute license or substitute authorization through the Iowa Board of Education Examiners in place before we will be able to add you to the substitute list. Please make sure you have recieved confirmation from the Iowa BOEE that you have been issued your license or authorization before applying.

//boee.iowa.gov/ for more information on how to obtain one of these licenses. Applicants will recieve information regarding the next steps for being added to Lewis Central CSD's subsitute list. Attending a substitute orientation is required for all substitutes. The first 2 substitute orientations for the school year will be held on: Tuesday, August 18th from 2:30 pm to approximately 4:00 pm & Tuesday, August 25th from 10:00 am to approximately 11:30 am Space is limited for both sessions, so please submit your completed application as soon as possible. An additional orientation session will be held in September. Please reach out to humanresources@lewiscentral.org if you have any questions.
